Renewals Underwriter – Commercial
Location: Leeds (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £35,000 + 20% Bonus
Are you an experienced underwriter or insurance professional with a background in financial lines or commercial insurance? This could be a great next step into a technical, desk-based underwriting role with strong career potential.
This opportunity sits within a well-established and collaborative underwriting team based in Leeds. The role is focused purely on renewals, allowing you to manage and retain an existing book of commercial and financial lines business while strengthening broker relationships.
The portfolio includes Professional Indemnity and Directors & Officers risks, where you’ll work closely with brokers to retain and develop key accounts, delivering high-quality underwriting decisions and maintaining strong relationships.
They are open to individuals from both a broking or insurer background, provided you have experience within financial lines or wider commercial lines and a solid understanding of how to assess and underwrite risk.
