Property & Specialty Underwriter (Could be Adv AU stepping up)
Opportunity to join a continually growing property treaty division, which also has a good sized specialty portfolio as part of the wider platform. This role offers a newly turned underwriter or an experienced Assistant Underwriter a chance to be part of a small team with ambitious growth and development plans.
This role will suit someone who enjoys both the technical aspects of underwriting as well as well as external development, including broker development/oversight which will include overseas travel. If you are keen on growing your network, and developing across a wider broker panel, this role offers the best of everything.
The client have a flexible attitude to finding the right candidate for this role; of course ideally a property treaty background, strong analytics with a good level of exposure to pricing/modelling will be the preferred option, but a wider specialty treaty background could be considered, or perhaps an experienced cat modeler who has worked closely with an underwriting team across a property treaty portfolio.
