Jamie Harrison

Throughout my career I have been customer facing and working within sales. I started my career at Sainsburys where I spent over 3 years within the organisation being a manager of the online department. I then moved on to an IT agency based in London supporting a variety of different roles within the tech world supplying to numerous industries. Having spent over 2 years there I was looking for the next chapter of my career and IPS really caught my eye in the market.

Why did you join IPS?

I joined IPS due to the reputation they portray in the market, I would often speak to candidates who have been approached by IPS previously and that’s a great testament to our organisation. I also participated in the Lloyd’s 5-aside tournament in June representing IPS, achieving our most successful run in the competition for a while! This was a great opportunity to meet some members of the team and helped me really understand that IPS has a great culture, not only within the team but also networking with clients in the market showing the extensive relationships IPS has built over the past 50 years. Throughout my interview process everyone made me feel so welcome and I also noticed a lot of colleagues have been here for quite sometime as well as a few having rejoined the organisation and to me that really speaks a thousand words!

What are your interests outside of work

Outside of work I enjoy keeping myself busy and active, I play football on Sundays & Mondays and like to go to the gym where I can. I support Tottenham and I enjoy going to the games, especially this season (this statement may not be valid in a few months’ time). I have a West Highland Terrier named Poppy who I enjoy taking out for walks and keeping company. I’m also partial to a drink here and there too!
