Excellent opportunity for an established commercial property underwriter, who has an established underwriting authority, ideally having underwriting larger corporate risks, although mid-market property will also be considered. This role will work across renewal and new business, but will focus on more new business generation through a significant part of the role being proactive broker engagement management – having key responsibility to build and continue developing new underwriting opportunities.
This role will suit an ambitious underwriter who is keen to step into a growth opportunity with more visibility within the group.
If you are particularly interested in the broker management/engagement/development and feel this is a natural strength which you wish to continue developing, but also enjoy the technical aspects of underwriting/portfolio analytics and want to marry the two, it doesn’t get any better!
Consideration will also be given to Assistant Underwriters with their own underwriting authority and who have enjoyed developing growing their own portfolio, but who aren’t given full autonomy to run completely independently
