    Multinational Customer Relations/Ops Manager

    A rather unique opportunity to join an established US based insurance services company, comprising both a broking and underwriting division. On this occasion the underwriting division is hiring with the intension of enhancing their capability to clients/partners both in US, but importantly also in the UK and Europe.

    The underwriting division typically partners with corporate clients and insurers to facilitate the more complex international requirements. The appointee will lead and manage clients along with their portfolios for multiple line coverages; these accounts will comprise both new and renewal policies. Additional duties will include;-

    Review submissions/identify any missing information.

    Develop initial cost estimates.

    Communicate with clients and partners globally.

    Market/service the account.

    This is a role suited to somebody with multinational insurance serving experience, be it at a service support unit within a global insurer or a broker at an international firm handling global accounts. Other abilities will include;-

    Willingness to travel throughout UK/Europe and possibility other regions globally;
    – Foreign languages, absolutely a plus;
    – An open mindedness; experience working in multi-cultural environments or internationally is a plus;
    – Willingness to work non-traditional hours when necessary due to partners in different time zones.
    – High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suit ie Google system and other common IT solutions; – Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills with business professionals from different countries and territories.
    -Ability to stay highly organized and work in a detail-oriented manner;
    – Ability to work on a variety of projects and meet time sensitive dead?
    – Self-motivated, positive attitude and oriented to a resourceful position for colleagues and partners

    On joining, it is proposed that the appointee should initially spend a few weeks in New York and thereafter visit on a regular basis in order to become familiarized with colleagues and the broader operation and processes. There would be some advantage if you also happened to be a US passport holder.
