Motor Fleet Underwriter- New Business
Are you a Motor Fleet Underwriter looking for your next challenge? Perhaps you’re a Broker with fleet experience and some exposure to underwriting authority. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-respected insurer with ambitious growth plans and a strong appetite within the Mid-Market Fleet space. If you’re looking for a role where you can build broker relationships, trade effectively and drive profitable growth, this could be the move for you.
You will focus exclusively on New Business Motor Fleet, working closely with brokers to identify opportunities, win profitable accounts and grow the branch portfolio. This is a highly broker-facing role, with a strong emphasis on trading, relationship development and converting opportunities across the Mid-Market Fleet market.
You’ll be responsible for underwriting Mid-Market Fleet business profitably and consistently, whilst developing strong relationships with brokers through regular engagement, visits and large case discussions. The role offers plenty of exposure to the market, giving you the opportunity to establish yourself as a trusted trading partner and become the go-to contact for your broker panel.
We’re ideally seeking candidates with Motor Fleet underwriting experience, although we’d also be keen to speak with individuals from a broking background who have strong Fleet knowledge and are looking to move into underwriting. Strong broker relationship skills, commercial awareness and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
