This is a fantastic opportunity at a well known syndicate. Working within the Accident and Health underwritring team, you will provide a cruicial analytical support role across the entire business portfolio.
Working closely with the Class Underwriter and wider team you will use your analytical and data strengths to support across a variety of functions. This role will suit someone with a strong analytical acumen, who isn’t looking to be an underwriter but enjoys the analytical and reporting aspects of a role.
You will:

Assist underwriters in their underwriting of new accounts.

Collation and analysis of supporting data to assist with the underwriting of new products and risks

Monitor managed clients underwriting performance against plans. Liaising with clients and brokers as required. Assisting with ongoing monitoring of paid vs expected premiums.

Create and run insightful reports and dashboards from the data, providing insight into client and book performance.

Assist with the analysis and optimisation of RI programmes.

Assist with the improvement and development of pricing models and tools.

Assist with the on-boarding of new clients and migration of existing clients as required.

Responsible for the gradual digitalisation of data and bordereaux received from clients.

This is a full on, analytical support role which offers group exposure within underwriting, really needs the data analytics specialist who really wants to develop this role within this area, rather than developing into Underwriter status.
