Insurance Analyst
This is a chance to work within the highly respected Risk & Insurance team of a Ftse 250 company. This role reports to the Global Insurance Director, as a component of Group Finance. This is a great opportunity to further learn and progress within a very supportive team environment.
The role will provide high quality financial and analytical insight to support insurance strategy, risk financing, captive optimisation, claims performance and commercial decision making across group operations.
Working collaboratively with Finance, Legal, Risk, Procurement, Operations and external insurance partners, the role will help position Group Insurance as a proactive commercially focussed and insight-led business partner to all group operations.
Technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualifications:
- Strong analytical, financial modelling and forecasting capability
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Experience interpreting and presenting complex datasets and trends
- Experience within insurance, risk financing, captive management preferred
- Experience within insurance actuarial environments desirable
- Exposure to multinational insurance programmes and claims analytics desirable
- Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau desirable
- Understanding of contractual risk allocation and risk transfer preferred
