A Blue Chip Global Insurance Business has an opening for a motivated individual to come and join their growing sales team in the heart of Manchester.

You will be focusing on specific insurance risks such as liability insurance, including professional indemnity, public liability and employers’ liability, covering the specific risks of a particular sector. You will be assisting commercial insurance needs of major businesses, SMEs, professionals and sole traders.

Some Key duties/tasks include:

Making outbound calls to customers – dealing with quotes not yet purchased (no cold calling).
Re-engaging lapsed customers from previous years and renewal chasers with a view to converting these into business
Taking inbound calls from new and existing customers
Handling quote referrals as required within underwriting authority (new business and renewal)
Handling mid-term adjustments and issuing renewal invitations

We are looking to speak to individuals from either an insurance or customer service background that have experience of working to sales or retention targets and the ability to identify cross sell opportunities (however this is not mandatory).
