    This is an exciting time to join this London Market insurer, in a newly created role. An impressive performance over the last few years has led to the international parent company making further investments which will lead to significant growth, both in terms of new territories and additional business lines being underwritten.

    Reporting directly into the Head of Distribution, a confident, high performing account manager is being sought to lead and develop key broker relationships within this global speciality company. The focus is on delivering strategic objectives and plans across all business lines.

    Job Responsibilities and Competences:-

    • Provide regular market insight and broker intelligence to Underwriting and key stakeholders, enabling The group to successfully respond and navigate external developments.
    • Drive business planning with key brokers, at Executive and Business Line levels, and embed a relationship framework to manage account performance.
    • Plan and facilitate structured engagement across our Executive and Trading levels with key broking stakeholders.
    • Identify and introduce key opportunities to the business, whilst collaborating with Underwriting and key stakeholders to execute successfully.
    • Lead business development across all lines of business with your dedicated broker panel.
    • Monitor and manage broker performance in line with The group’s strategy contributing to Monthly Broker Forums.
    • Support negotiation of Strategic Partnership Agreements and Facilities.
    • Champion and promote The group in all external engagements.
    • Support Underwriters with strategic selling techniques for marketing The group’s brand to brokers.
    • Contribute to key growth initiatives and projects, including but not limited to, potential new business lines, Digital Trading and Portfolio Solutions.

    Key accountabilities:

    • Drive profitable growth (GWP) with distribution partners.
    • Drive structured engagement and prospecting of new business opportunities.
    • Deliver best in class account management with a dedicated broker panel.
    • Support Underwriting with execution of business strategy in the marketplace.
    • Experience Required:
    • Evidence of displaying successful business development and account management.
    • Ability to develop and sustain relationships with internal and external customers.
    • Ability to prioritise and organise workload.
    • Team player with ability to work on a stand-alone basis.
    • Strong communication skills at all levels.
    • Ability to develop and articulate messages in presentations clearly.
