Senior Underwriter – Property & Casualty
Location – Chelmsford, 3 days per week in the office
Salary – Basic up to £65,000
IPS Group are working with a leading Global Insurer to bring in a Senior P&C Underwriter in Chelmsford!
This is a perfect opportunity for someone with strong technical expertise across P&C Underwriting wanting to further develop and take that next step with a Global Insurer.
What you’ll be doing?
- Lead complex underwriting as a senior authority holder
- Win and retain major accounts across Property and/or Casualty
- Build powerful broker relationships in the regional market
- Drive intelligent new business growth and support multinational opportunities
- Collaborate across the business to deliver exceptional service and performance
What we’re looking for –
- Technical expertise across Property & Casualty Insurance (Casualty preference, but open to either!)
- Strong broker connections across the South East (Essex/ Kent etc)
- Ability to mentor and train new & existing staff
- Eye on the current market trends/ insights
- New or Existing Business Underwriters considered
