    Repair Manager
    Nottinghamshire

    Office/Hybrid
    Salary: Up to £35,000

Are you an experienced repairs, contractor management, or insurance professional looking for a role where you can make a real impact on operational performance and governance?
We are seeking a proactive and process-driven Repair Manager to oversee the delivery of repair works through a nationwide contractor network.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong operational oversight, compliance awareness, and contractor management experience to join a growing organisation focused on quality, customer outcomes, and continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for ensuring repairs are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and to the highest standards. Acting as the key link between contractors, surveyors, claims teams, and operational stakeholders, you will oversee repair performance, contractor governance, compliance requirements, and quality assurance activities.

This is a hands-on operational role focused on process ownership and contractor management rather than direct people management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee repair delivery across a network of approved contractors
    • Monitor performance, service levels, repair progress, and customer outcomes
    • Manage complex, high-risk, and escalated repair matters
    • Review repair variations and support final account validation
    • Drive contractor performance, consistency, and service quality
    • Build strong working relationships with contractors and key stakeholders
    • Support contractor onboarding, due diligence, and governance processes
    • Ensure compliance documentation remains accurate and audit-ready
    • Lead contractor audits and quality assurance reviews
    • Identify operational and compliance risks and implement corrective actions
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives across repairs and governance
    • Assist with reporting, audit preparation, and operational reviews
    • Provide technical guidance to repair coordination teams where required

    About You

    • Experience within property repairs, contractor management, insurance claims, facilities management, or a similar environment
    • Strong understanding of repair processes and contractor governance
    • Experience managing compliance documentation and operational workflows
    • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
    • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
    • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
    • The ability to identify risks and drive operational improvements

    Desirable Experience

Insurance claims or loss adjusting background
Knowledge of CDM regulations and contractor compliance requirements
Experience conducting contractor audits or quality assurance reviews
Understanding of reinstatement, restoration, or building repair works
    Experience using claims management systems

    Package

    • Competitive salary of Up to £35,000
    • Opportunity to join a growing and ambitious organisation
    • A varied and autonomous role with genuine responsibility
    • Supportive and collaborative working environment
    • The chance to influence operational excellence and contractor governance across the business

If you’re looking for a role where you can combine operational oversight, contractor management, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
