We’re working with a growing provider of mental health and wellbeing services within the education sector, looking to hire a Business Development Manager to drive new business across schools, colleges, and universities in the South (from Birmingham downwards). This is a pure B2B role focused on selling to senior decision-makers such as Heads of Student Services, Directors, and Principals.
This is a consultative, non-advised sales environment where success comes from understanding client needs and positioning the right solutions rather than hard selling. You’ll be responsible for generating your own pipeline, engaging prospects via phone, Teams, and face-to-face meetings, and attending industry events throughout the year. There are no renewals or account management responsibilities—this role is purely focused on winning new business.
We’re looking for a strong, adaptable B2B salesperson with a track record in new business development, confidence in building relationships at senior level, and the ability to operate across different sectors. You’ll need to be proactive, credible, and comfortable managing the full sales cycle in a flexible, consultative way.
The role is field-based, supported by a small, collaborative team, and offers a competitive salary with a bonus structure paying 15% for hitting target and up to 50% for overachievement.
