“I joined IPS Group in the summer of 2008, starting on my own with no headhunting or sales experience. My schedule was full – meeting people in the daytime, having calls with Ed Snell (UK Boss) in the evenings, and pondering at night. This situation lasted months before I had an assistant at the end of the year and another consultant joining the year after. No placement in 2008. I felt sorry and guilty about being paid but bringing in no revenue to the company. I did not receive any push or blame from Ed, instead, he said, ‘Molly, you have so many interviews, this is positive. Interviews mean you will be successful.’ This quote has been accompanying me throughout the whole journey.”
