Specialty Underwriting Team Leader
We are partnered with a specialist underwriting outfit seeking an experienced Underwriting Team Leader to join their growing team. Your leadership skills will be critical, along with the ability to underwrite, advise other team members on challenging underwriting cases, engage in difficult conversations with brokers where needed, handle negotiations and also offer technical training.
A specialty background will be required (marine, aviation or engineering would be of particular interest) and in fact, applications are welcomed from those with a previous track record in underwriting OR broking. The role will suit a highly professional, technical and energetic individual who can have a positive influence on a developing team and who is aligned to meeting the strategic goals of a successful specialty underwriting division.
