    This is a rare opportunityfor a Casualty Assistant Underwriter or Underwriter to join a newly launched, standalone product line at a leading, innovation-driven specialty insurer with a strong track record of building and scaling niche portfolios.
    The product launched in August in the US and Canada, with Australia and the UK next on the roadmap. You’ll be joining a tight-knit team of two, with serious growth ambitions and a critical, meaningful mission: providing essential protection that enables companies, contractors, and non-profits to operate safely and legally.
     
     The role

    • Underwrite a standalone, specialty Casualty  product, focused initially on the US market.
    • Work directly with US wholesale brokers, leveraging existing strong relationships to cross-sell and scale.
    • Target a broad range of clients from SMEs to large corporates.
    • Collaborate with a leading risk management and prevention partner, adding real value to the product offering
    • .Contribute to the ongoing development of the product line, including expansion into new regions and team growth.

     
    What You’ll Bring

    • Experience in GL, E&O, casualty underwriting, preferably with some US exposure
    • Preference would be given to those who have worked on risks for industries where there are vulnerabilities such as the healthcare, social care space
    • A commercial mindset with a desire to build something meaningful, not just maintain a portfolio.
