Senior P&C Underwriter- 1 day in the office
A well established Insurer in Bristol is looking to hire a Senior Property & Casualty Underwriter focusing on a mixture of commercial combined and real estate risks.
Although this role is tied to and reporting in to Bristol, there is plenty of flexibility as you will only need to be in the office 1 or maybe 2 days per week.
You’ll focus primarily on premiums in the £5k–£30k range, with opportunities to handle larger cases. The role sits within a regional commercial underwriting team and is separate from any London Market real estate function. You will have autonomy to make decisions within your authority whilst working to strategy.
You will build and maintain strong broker relationships, support the delivery of regional financial targets, contribute to technical development within the team, and help drive profitable growth across your region.
We are keen to speak to experienced underwriters ready to take a step up to Senior Underwriter level as well as established Senior Underwriters looking for a new challenge, environment or maybe some added flexibility. Candidates from either a composite Insurer or MGA will be considered as long as you are able to display the right attributes. Strong trading skills, confident decision?making, good knowledge of the regional broker market and a proactive, collaborative attitude will help you stand out.
