This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding Real Estate underwriting team that has built a strong reputation since its launch, particularly in supporting large and real estate programmes. With continued investment and strategic focus on growth across the UK regions and mid?market segment, this is a great time to join a supportive team shaping a new proposition in the market.
You will join a collaborative, forward?thinking Real Estate team within a national underwriting centre, providing high?quality service to brokers and underwriters while expanding your technical and business skills.
The role focuses on renewing Property and Liability risks for Real Estate clients ranging from single-asset mid?market placements to complex multinational programmes. You will work closely with regional underwriting teams, distribution partners, and property managers to build strong and sustainable broker and client relationships.
You will also collaborate with claims, risk engineering, and global services colleagues to deliver outstanding service and contribute to cross?line solutions across the wider business.
This role offers a strong career pathway with opportunities for progression and increased responsibility as the portfolio grows.
You will underwrite renewal accounts up to £100k within underwriting strategy whilst contributing to account profitability and targets. You will be regularly involved in Broker meetings and renewal discussions whilst working closely with other parts of the business across multiple lines.
To be considered you must have underwriting experience either within real estate, property & casualty or mono line property. You will be rewarded with a competitive base salary, excellent benefits and hybrid working being in the office 3 days per week.
