Calling insurance second jobbers! This is an exciting opportunity to develop expertise in a niche area of insurance, focusing on new business, renewals, and broker relationships. While direct underwriting experience isn’t required, a foundation of knowledge in the commercial insurance market, preferably on a global basis and interest in the subject matter are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with underwriting IP insurance policies for new clients and renewals.
- Support broker relationships and contribute to business growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior underwriters to assess risk and pricing strategies.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends relevant to the sector.
Competencies:
- Insurance background with a strong understanding of insurance principles.
- Enthusiastic about learning and specializing in IP-related risks.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
