Head of Marine, Energy and Aviation Reinsurance
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Marine, Energy & Aviation to join our London Underwriting team. This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to take ownership of a well-established, profitable portfolio writing a mixture of XOL and quota share business. The book is in excellent shape, with strong renewal prospects and strategic headroom for profitable growth, despite a challenging market.
You’ll lead a high-calibre team, set the underwriting strategy across product, pricing, and portfolio management whilst holding full P&L responsibility. While this is a leadership role, you’ll remain hands-on in underwriting select cases. This is your chance to put your mark on the business and steer the team into its next phase.
We’re open to seasoned leaders or senior underwriters ready to step up—provided you bring a steady hand, strong market instincts, and proven team leadership skills.
