A market leading specialty insurance group is looking for an individual to join their team as a Delegated Authority Technician. You will assist in ensuring that the coverholders, service companies and lineslips are managed in line with the internal processes and procedures.
The main areas of responsibility will be facilitating approval of new Coverholders, including direct deals, in line with regulatory requirements and best practice, undertaking Conduct Risk reviews on new and renewal Coverholders and referring queries to the committee where required. You will also be required to handle and process the bordereaux reports into systems where applicable as well as monitoring the quality.
A successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills, excellent time management and experience within a delegated authority team.
