Casualty Adjuster – North West (Home / Field Based)
We’re looking for an experienced Casualty Adjuster to join a well-established, high-quality claims management business as part of their growing Casualty Division.
You’ll handle a mix of fast track and multi-track liability claims including Employers’, Public, Products, TPPD, and CAR. This is a home-based role with regular field visits across the North West.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a caseload of around 80 files efficiently and proactively
- Conducting thorough site investigations and preparing clear, detailed reports
- Handling claims from cradle to grave, or on an investigation and report-only basis
- Liaising with insurers, policyholders, witnesses, and experts
- Assessing liability, controlling indemnity spend, and negotiating settlements
- Providing sound technical advice and ensuring service standards are met
- Supporting business development and maintaining strong relationships
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in loss adjusting or claims handling within casualty
- Cert CII and/or Cert CILA preferred
- Strong understanding of Commercial Combined Liability and CAR policies
- Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills
- Professional approach with a can-do attitude
- Full, clean UK driving licence
