IPS Group is working closely with a leading global insurer who due to growth are looking to recruit a Broker Development Manager to strengthen their presence across the UK commercial insurance market. This is a key role suited to someone with a natural ability to build strong broker relationships, a commercial mindset, and the motivation to represent a respected name in the market.
You will lead broker engagement across important regional areas, developing and implementing relationship strategies that support the business’s growth objectives. The role involves managing a blend of new business generation and key account development, with a focus on commercial lines across a variety of sectors. You will work closely with internal leadership teams to deliver value-driven solutions to clients. Face-to-face interaction is a significant part of the role, with regular travel to broker meetings, industry events, and collaboration with colleagues in regional hubs.
The ideal candidate will have experience within the UK commercial insurance market and be confident in their communication skills, enjoying the process of developing partnerships and representing the business externally. A proactive and independent approach is essential, along with the ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and work effectively within a regional team.
