Assistant Underwriter, Professional Indemnity
We are seeking an Assistant Underwriter to work within a leading Professional Liability team and help underwrite a diverse portfolio of US-focused professional risks.
You’ll be working within a highly innovative team, across SME, mid-market, and larger accounts, with exposure to multi-class products including liability, cyber, and property.
What you’ll do:
- Underwrite new business and renewals
- Respond to broker enquiries and deliver quotes within SLA
- Build and maintain strong broker relationships
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Contribute to team initiatives and market activity
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in professional liability (E&O) underwriting or broking
- Strong communication, numerical, and analytical skills
- Commercial mindset with a proactive, sales approach
- Interest in US risks (experience desirable, not essential)
