Senior AI Engineer (English & Mandarin Speaking)
London | Hybrid 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a globally recognised organisation investing heavily in Artificial Intelligence and digital transformation. We’re looking for an experienced Senior AI Engineer to play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-scale Generative AI solutions that will have a real impact across the business.
This is a hands-on technical leadership position where you’ll work with the latest AI technologies to build production-ready applications, influence architecture, and help shape the future direction of AI within a large-scale enterprise environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design and build enterprise-grade Generative AI applications using LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Develop scalable backend services using Python, FastAPI, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Build intelligent search and retrieval solutions using Azure AI Search and vector search technologies.
• Work extensively across the Azure ecosystem, including Azure OpenAI, AKS, and Databricks.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative AI solutions.
• Mentor engineers, contribute to architecture decisions, and promote engineering best practice.
• Drive the full software development lifecycle from design through to deployment and production support.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong software engineering background with excellent Python development skills.
• Proven experience delivering production-grade Generative AI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Azure OpenAI
  • LangChain and/or LangGraph
  • Large Language Models (LLMs)
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Azure AI Search
  • Databricks / PySpark
  • Docker & Kubernetes (AKS)
• Experience designing scalable cloud-native AI applications.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders.
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential, as the successful candidate will work closely with English- and Mandarin-speaking teams and stakeholders across multiple regions.
