Senior Account Executive – Construction
A well-established and growing construction practice is looking to hire a Client Executive to support a substantial, high-quality book covering complex and often large-scale risks. The portfolio includes major housebuilders, demolition firms, groundworking specialists, aggregates operators and infrastructure-linked businesses, offering exposure to technically demanding clients and projects well beyond standard mid-market work. This is a book with real depth and credibility, already performing strongly and requiring additional support due to demand.
The primary purpose of this role is to take ownership of key client servicing responsibilities, easing the pressure on a senior team who are currently stretched managing the book. By doing so, you will directly enable them to focus on generating new business and driving growth within the practice. From day one, you will be stepping into a busy environment where a safe pair of hands is essential, with established relationships that need to be maintained and developed to a high standard.
You’ll work alongside experienced individuals who bring a mix of technical expertise and strong market presence, giving you the opportunity to learn quickly while contributing immediately. Over time, the role will naturally evolve into a broader position with increased exposure to development, creating a pathway to build your own presence within the sector.
This will suit someone with construction exposure who can confidently manage clients and deliver from the outset, or an ambitious individual ready to step up into a more visible, client-facing role. You’ll need commercial awareness, the ability to build trust and enough sector understanding to hold your own.
