Portfolio Underwriter
Are you an experienced Portfolio Underwriter seeking to drive performance, strengthen MGA partnerships, and build a meaningful proposition in a fast‑growing, data‑driven carrier? We are seeking an ambitious underwriter who can:
- Lead portfolio performance across delegated authority programs
- Run MGA oversight, monthly/quarterly reviews, and onboarding
- Own data & reporting, including Power BI dashboards and reinsurer packs
- Maintain risk & compliance with FCA/PRA requirements
- Act as day‑to‑day contact for MGA partners and collaborate across internal teams
What you’ll bring
- 3–7+ years in delegated authority underwriting, portfolio or coverholder oversight
- Strong understanding of UK specialty markets and binding authorities
- Confident with data analysis and BI tools
- Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder skills
- Comfortable building processes in a fast‑paced environment
ACII or progress towards, experience in project management, Lloyd’s and reinsurer reporting would additionally be beneficial.
