Catastrophe Modelling Analyst
IPS are working with a leading, global (re)insurance provider in their search for a Catastrophe Analyst to join their analytics team.
Working at a portfolio level across both modelled and non-modelled classes, you will provide key analytics and translate modelling results to help develop and enhance the business’ overall view of risk. With close communication with the Underwriting and Actuarial teams, as well as other key stakeholders, you will have significant involvement in exciting project work including conducting insightful analysis into catastrophe modelling best practices, development into new markets and product offerings, as well as event response work, making this opportunity well-aligned to analysts who are eager to accelerate their progression in catastrophe analytics.
To be considered for this position:
- Prior experience running a recognised catastrophe model.
- Proficiency using tools such as SQL, Python, and VBA is highly desired.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a wider team.
