Catastrophe Pricing Analyst
IPS have partnered exclusively with a highly innovative, tech-driven start-up in their search for a skilled analytical professional to join the team and help grow the business.
Specialising in niche product lines, you will play a vital role in providing key analytics at a portfolio level to help guide business decisions and overall view of risk. You will have significant exposure to, and communication with, underwriters, actuaries, and other key stakeholders, making this a great opportunity for analysts who are seeking a varied and dynamic role. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in developing tools and processes, conducting catastrophe model research, and other exciting projects on an ad-hoc basis – an opportunity well aligned to highly analytical professionals who are eager to provide innovative solutions as part of a growing business.
To be considered for this opportunity:
- Experience using a recognised catastrophe vendor model.
- Technical proficiency using tool such as SQL, R, and Python is highly advantageous but not a requisite.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a wider team.
- Keen to immerse fully into a forward-thinking environment.
