Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst
IPS are partnering alongside a highly innovative, algorithm-driven Lloyd’s syndicate in their search for a Catastrophe Analyst to join the team at a Senior level focusing on their Property Binders book of business.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing pricing and analytics to key internal stakeholders including Underwriting teams and Senior management. You will also have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with other team members including supporting on product development, enhancing and developing the internal view of risk, as well as exciting project initiatives on an ad-hoc basis. Joining a dynamic, supportive, and close-knit analytics function, this opportunity aligns well with analysts who are eager to join a forward-thinking environment at the forefront of analytics in the industry.
To be considered for this position, applicants should:
- Have experience using a recognised catastrophe model with a Property class focus.
- Technical proficiency using SQL is desired, with additional coding and programming languages being highly advantageous.
- Keen to immerse fully into a unique, forward-thinking environment.
