IPS are partnering alongside a highly innovative, algorithm-driven Lloyd’s syndicate in their search for a Catastrophe Analyst to join the team at a Senior level focusing on Specialty lines, including but not limited to Cargo, Marine, Specie and Terror.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across multiple lines of business, playing a vital role in providing pricing and analytics to key internal stakeholders including Underwriting teams and Senior management. You will also have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with other team members including supporting on product development, enhancing and developing the internal view of risk, as well as exciting project initiatives on an ad-hoc basis. To be considered for this position, applicants should:

Have a strong understanding and practical use of a recognised Catastrophe model, ideally with a Specialty class focus (proven modelling experience from other lines of business also considered)
Technical proficiency with SQL is desired, with additional coding and programming languages being highly advantageous.
