We are working with a major Reinsurer who is seeking a Property Treaty Underwriter to handle the UK segment of their portfolio. Our client is writing big ticket business for a mixture of company and syndicate markets on both commercial abs residential portfolios. You will get some brilliant exposure to both risks and the market, often attending client meetings by yourself so you must have the gravitas to deal with senior stakeholders.
This role requires a technical Property underwriter or broker who has a strong understanding of reinsurance (yes we will consider somebody with a D&F background). It is crucial that you are able to demonstrate a technical and analytical mindset and a desire to learn. There is also the potential of a 4 day week for the right candidate.
