A highly regarded insurance focused Law Firm currently have an exciting opportunity to join their busy team on a remote home working basis reporting into their South West office. They are looking for experienced Claims Handlers within the insurance or legal sector with exposure to professional indemnity or similar classes of business.
You will manage a caseload of professional indemnity claims working within a variety of sectors including construction, the Construction, legal, accountancy and engineering sectors.
You will handle over-valuation claims as a result of the credit crunch and in particular aspects of fraud. (Buy-to-lets, multimillion pound over valuations of both domestic and commercial properties) You will offer advice on coverage and policy issues as well as managing third party property claims You will have significant exposure in alternative dispute resolution including mediation and adjudication.
To be considered you must have previous claims handling experience within professional indemnity or a similar discipline either within an insurance or legal environment. You will be attached to a regional office and must be open to attending meetings in a South West office (travel costs will be covered)
