    A highly regarded Insurance company has an interesting opportunity for an experienced Nurse, Occupational Health Therapist or Physiotherapist to diversify their career into the corporate sector whilst still retaining your medical knowledge and experience as an Insurance Rehabilitation Consultant.

    As a Rehabilitation Consultant you will manage a caseload of medical based claims referrals resulting from group income protection claims. You provide and support the pro-active benefits management service for Group and Individual Protection customers by establishing and overseeing the delivery of early intervention, treatment/therapy, rehabilitation and return to work plans.

    You will provide comprehensive clinical specialist advice and support to the benefits management team to assist in the assessment and management of Income Protection, Critical Illness and Ill health liability Insurance claims.

    You will carry out discussions and conduct assessments over the phone, face to face or via to establish their clinical capability and develop a rehabilitation plan working closely with the employers and IFA’s and policyholders.

    You will also use your extensive medical experience and understanding to train and develop Claims Handlers in the department to provide the best possible customer experience throughout.

    To be considered you must be either a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with case management, occupational health or vocational rehabilitation experience and must be registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC/HCPC).
