With four direct reports this is a key role where the focus is on maintaining excellent relationships with existing clients and insurers. Some key accountabilities are listed below;-
To lead and support the team for which the job holder is responsible
To interpret client needs identified by the Customer Group Leader and propose optimum insurance solutions
To build and continuously enhance relationships with insurers
To monitor insurer feedback surveys and take immediate action when necessary
To ensure that brokers are fully and continuously appraised of all material facts in relation to each insurance programme
To understand the range, advantages and limitations of insurance products available and their relevance to clients
To sign-off all broking presentations
To identify new products and services based on emerging needs within target customer groups
Measure impact by earliest reporting of potential claims
Our client seeks a person with a good knowledge of commercial insurances, including Non Marine-Property/Casualty and also Margo Cargo/Liabilities. Ideally you will have previously held a team management role and be used to delegating tasks that leads to the service delivery being maintained at the highest levels. The appointee will also be responsible for managing the largest clients, so a confident and focussed approach is essential.
