    Our client; a growing Lloyd’s of London Insurance Broker are looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join the dynamic IT Department. You will have complete ownership of the companies mission critical databases and work closely with the Software Engineer and Data Analyst teams.

    Your duties will include independently working to configure and maintain all database servers and processes, provide architecture guidance to ensure new solutions are designed correctly from the ground up, as well as performing migrations to the cloud environment using Microsoft Azure.

    You must have the below experience to be considered:

    • A minimum of 10 years SQL Server administration experience
    • 3 years’ cloud migration experience using Microsoft Azure
    • Ability to develop processes for optimizing database security – Cyber Security regulation knowledge is important
    • Expert management of high availability clusters
    • Experienced with Performance Tuning and Optimization
    • Familiar with data warehousing structures and technology
    • Experienced with code management and promotion using TFS or DevOps

    An Insurance background and being Microsoft Certified is advantageous but not essential.
