Assistant Management Accountant – £32-34,000 + study support + benefits

You will be an AAT/early stage studier with current or recent exposure to the Insurance Industry
Within this role you will be responsible for the purchase ledger, sales ledger, cash book and assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts for small subsidiaries throughout the group.
Oversee the control of the receipt, distribution and authorisation for payment of purchase ledger invoices ensuring controls and procedures are applied.
Month end journals and control accounts for group entities.
Preparation of quarterly management accounts for small subsidiaries including commentary, forecasting and variance analysis. Assist in small subsidiaries budgets and complete small subsidiaries Statutory Accounts.
Deliver to deadline monthly VAT return and to assist with the annual vat adjustment.
To process the operation of the T@W system.
Prepare the weekly cash flows and oversee the treasury function.
Assist with the on-boarding of the new MGA clients and their operations.
Other ad-hoc reporting requirements such as the PSA and IT analysis.
The Successful candidate will be an early stage studier (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with current exposure to the insurance industry.
