Fantastic opportunity to join a small yet growing traditional commercial insurance broker based in Shrewsbury as an Account Handler – farming risks.
As an Account Handler, you will be joining an experienced, hard working and friendly team of Account Handlers working alongside the team to help support the Director and will assist with his day-to-day handling of the clients insurance accounts.
You will be looking after a large portfolio of prestigious agricultural clients, taking a hands-on approach looking after all aspects of broking including renewals, claims handling, credit control, new business and midterm adjustments while leasing with insurers to negotiate the best rates for the clients.
You will also have the opportunity to regularly attend agricultural events in the local area, promoting the business and having the ability to really mix with your client base.
This role would suit a hard-working Account Handler, someone who has a natural interest in farming and agriculture and the risks associated with that industry.
Knowledge of Acturis would be a bonus but not essential. Those without commercial insurance experience will not be considered.
