IPS was incorporated in 1969 as a supplier of specialist staff to the London insurance market. Since then we have evolved into a successful and diverse international recruitment business employing around 100 staff.
A buyout in 1991 returned the ownership of the business to the Directors and staff and we remain in private ownership to this day. In recent years we have opened offices in various other cities, partly as a consequence of acquiring other recruitment business such as Anakin Seal (Legal) and Forsythe & Kayee (Finance)but also as a consequence of internationalising our core insurance and financial services recruitment businesses. Today, in addition to our offices in seven UK cities, we have subsidiary undertakings in the USA (Chicago), Hong Kong, China (Shanghai) and Singapore. It is our current deliberate strategy to grow our Asian presences to take advantage of the opportunities presented by the rapid economic growth being experienced in that part of the world. .
