Description:
Working under the general direction of the Legal Services Manager, the
succesful candidate will contribute to the provision of a comprehensive legal
service to the Counci, its Committees, Members and Officers by providing legal
advice. The candidate will also support and lead on the development of
corporate issues.
Candidate must have post qualification experience as a solicitor in local
government, knowledge of the government constitution, policies, procedures and
financial regulations. As an effective communicator, the ideal candidate will
be able to advise both verbally and in writing. Available to attend evening
meetings an advantage.
