Description:
As an insurance advisor within this small friendly broking business you will
assist in growing and developing the business and provide an excellent sales
service, to existing and potential clients. Based on best advice and timely
insurance quotations, supporting this with an accurate and timely after sales
service. The main area of responsibility are to develop and grow the
business Liaise with clients both over the telephone and face to face, on a
daily basis Identify a client’s needs and requirements Using Product
knowledge to ensure that best advice is given Obtain full and accurate
information upon which to base quotations. Providing timely quotations, with
an expected turnaround of 24 hours. Achieve targets, and report on actuals,
on a daily basis. Gather Marketing Intelligence information, and report to
Line Manager, on a daily basis. Operate effectively as an individual and as a
Team Player. Develop as an individual and as a Team Player. To operate
effectively and develop using own initiative and as part of a team.
Qualifications Maths GSCE Grade A-C English GSCE Grade A-C Certificate
of Insurance Proficiency desirable, but not essential Skills Computer
literacy and keyboard skills (Essential) Articulate and confident telephone
manner Experience Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant experience in Motor
insurance experience Previous knowledge of operating a Computerised
quotation/administration system (Essential) Broking Environment experience
would be an advantage but not essential Call Jo at IPS Group insurance
