Title:
PENSIONS LITIGATOR
Reference:
WEB453995AG
Salary:
Outstanding
Location:
London
Description:
This top tier City firm operates a bespoke Pensions Litigation practice of some note, one of this niche sectors most respected teams, and they are now looking to bring in an additional specialist Pensions Litigator. The practice has been involved in some of the most groundbreaking and landmark pension disputes over the past 20 years and continues to be called upon when complex and high profile contentious casework arises.
The team is looking for a Pensions Litigator from a recognised practice with an excellent academic record and who has experience of acting on large disputes. You should have at least 3 years post qualification experience and at this level, you will be expected to be able to work with minimal supervision and will have the ambition to make genuine career progress within a firm which actively encourages the development of its people. This is a firm with an excellent record of making its people up and this team has ambitious growth plans in a very favourable legal climate largely unaffected by the economic downturn; a combination which can offer considerable rewards to the right candidate if they are prepared to graft hard for their success.
A well established team is in place and to fit in with the culture and reputation it enjoys, candidate will need to be bright (first class academics are a must), commercial and lively, able to interact effectively with a range of internal and external contacts. They will also need to be technically precise black letter lawyers, this is a complex field. First and foremost this is a Litigation role so that is the required background as long as it offers some coverage of contentious Pensions work.
