Project Analyst (MS Office, MS Project, Lotus Notes) - City
An experienced Project Analyst is required by a global insurer to join their City-based office to establish a Project Management Office (PMO) function within Europe.
The role:There are to aspects of this challenging role: Project Administration and PMO. As the Project Analyst, you will be working with the various IT teams within both Infrastructure and Application Development (ADM) to ensure that Infrastructure projects are planned and progressed as appropriate and that interdependencies within and outside infrastructure are identified and communicated. As part of this role, you will be also responsible for establishing a PMO function within Europe, which will encompass providing ad hoc project administration support to the IT department as a whole.
The candidate:A successful applicant is an outgoing and pro-active individual with 3 years+ project administration/ coordination experience and a very good understanding of the role of IT within commercial organisation. To be considered for this role, you must have strong exposure to: MS Office, MS Project and Lotus Notes, coupled with some experience of infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has good negotiation skills, experience of application development projects and project management qualification.
