Our client is a nationally recognised and leading insurer with a reputation for innovation and career progression for its employees.

They have a requirement for an underwriter to work within their highly successful Birmingham operation to handle commercial risks for a panel of national and international brokers.

Your role will be one of account and relationship development for the panel as well as education for the brokers of the types of risks that fit within the corporate target for the underwriter.

This is a highly respected position and an important role with a high level of focus within the branch structure.

You will have direct access to the clients and brokers and will be expected to have a solid background in commercial underwriting with a positive attitude towards the insurance sector.
