A superb opportunity for an ambitious and tenacious commercial underwriter who is keen to move into a development role.

Working for one of the UKs leading insurance companies, this division offers a range of commercial insurance products and services to meet the needs of small to larger UK businesses.

This new role within the commercial underwriting team will involve underwriting new business and developing relationships to support the growth of the Property and Casualty business written with Midlands brokers.

Main duties will include:

- Case underwriting new Property and Casualty Business.- Handling referrals and giving training to lesser experienced underwriters.- Developing excellent relationships within the local market.

The role holder should have property and casualty underwriting experience, good local market knowledge, be a quick learner and be making progress towards professional qualification.
