Our client has an excellent reputation for developing and retaining their staff, due to expansion within their Cheltenham office they are now looking for a Technical Underwriter to their technical division. The role will involve working closely with the sales department and senior underwriters:

· To ensure the correct underwriting of products· To develop and assist in the development of new products and schemes· To support the transfer of bespoke product underwriting to the sales team

On a day to day basis, the Technical Underwriters deal with enquiries, referrals and requests from internal divisions and also external sources e.g. Police Authorities, MID.

The Technical Underwriter will also host insurer underwriting audits, ensure all customer documentation is correct, support aggregator/internet relationships, support Sales with off-screen rate facilities and deliver non-standard risk rates to Sales

Our client are currently offering a basic salary of up to £25,000 with an extensive benefits package including access to the company Gym.
