An exciting time to join this well respected specialist insurer. This regional
underwriting centre is expanding and rquires talented senior commercial
underwriters to join an already successful unit. This organisation is located
in prestigious, recently refurbished offices in the heart of Birmingham's
commercial quarter.
The role of Senior Commercial Underwriter will involve dealing with commercial
property and liability products in the niche target markets which
predominantly are: Churches, Charities, Care homes, Education and Heritage
buildings. As an experienced underwriter you will be involved in
underwriting, negotiating and servicing of business with premiums up to
£450,000. You will also provide technical assistance, advice and training to
colleagues as well as maintaining and developing relationships with key
contacts through external visits.
We would like to hear from candidates who have substantial technical
experience in dealing with complex commercial property and liability business.
