This is a high profile underwriting role with a real trading emphasis. Working from an established 'satellite' office for this growing regional insurer, your role will be streamlined to allow you to work in true partnership with broker partners in a new business and renewal underwriting capacity. This is acheived by having all processing and MTA's handled by the branch office, allowing the appointee to work freely, using their relationship building skills and technical acumen to full effect to achieve ambitious long-term growth plans. The business focus is mid-sized commercial classes, and you will need to have a cross-class technical background and ideally pre-existing strong links with the broker channel in the region, though this is not a pre-requisite. This role offers real scope to become a 'name' in the market and will suit an ambitious and highly motivated individual with a real 'sleeves-up' approach.
