A newly created and key role with one of the UK's market leading insurers to
manage the regions' underwriting performance, standards and profit targets.
Working regionally you will act as a senior underwriter and contribute to the
technical competence within your teams as well as assisting in the development
of the group's underwriting strategy.

In addition you will be the key management referral point for all activity for
a specific panel of highly supportive quality brokers and will personally
handle/delegate the larger and more prestigious risks thus developing and
maintaining profitable business relationships.

This role is integral to the on-going success of the region and as such the
successful candidate will ideally have creditability within the market, highly
tuned underwriting skills and the ability to make critical business decisions
as well as a passion for the business.
