My client is a nationally recognised insurance organisation with a leading
track record in growth and development.

They have a national presence and have a requirement for a highly specialist
product manager.

Your role will be one of development and management of relationships with
insurance partners from around the region and further a field.

You will establish business needs in relation to specific sectors, develop
products to accommodate these sectors and, with close relationship with
insurers and other intermediaries, will design and roll out niche products for
the sectors.

The typical classes will fall in the specialist divisions as well as personal
lines and some commercial exposure.

You will target and develop new products in line with the companies’ growth
strategies, and will roll out the products on a national basis whilst
maintaining a controlling influence over the productivity of the accounts once
they are up and running.

You must have a proven background within the insurance sector (preferably from
personal lines or niche class markets) and have a solid background in product
development.

A strong technical ability is also a desired quality.
